"Shocked!!! The Jaw-Dropping Surprise That Came With This Delivery"

A few weeks ago, I received an order from a woman named Tammie, who said she was referred by a close friend of mine. She placed an order for some of her people who were visiting in town and even shared how she knew my friend. I was excited — there’s always something special about cooking for someone connected to the people I care about.

I happily prepared her meal and headed out for delivery, expecting a simple hand-off. But when I arrived, I was met with the most unbelievable surprise.

The person who was waiting for me wasn’t just "Delvin", one of Tammie's people — it was a room full of my closest friends waiting for me! There they were: Denise Barnes, Kenny Wright, Linda Mclaine, James Banks, and Kareem Wright… people who have meant so much to me over the years. I was absolutely floored.

Some of them I hadn’t seen in over 10 years! My heart was racing as I hugged each one of them, soaking in the moment. The shared bond between friends is truly priceless — and the fact that this reunion happened over food made it even sweeter.

We laughed, reminisced, and enjoyed the meal together. Even Rome, the Front Desk Agent at the Courtyard by Marriott – Houston Katy Mills, was in on the surprise!

To everyone who helped plan this and keep it a secret — THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You gave me a day I will never forget. Sometimes, the most beautiful moments in life happen when you least expect them.
